ECORYS helps Albanian government with tendering of largest ever project in Albania PDF Print E-mail

21 July 2006 - ECORYS has been asked by Dutch Ministry for Transport to lend support in the tendering process for construction of the road between Rreshen and Kalimash in Albania.

This road will have a length of approximately 50 kiolometers and will reduce travelling times from Kosovo to the Albanian coast from 8 to 4 hours. It will also provide an important economic impulse to tourism and to the economy. This project is the largest ever initiated in Albania and is at the top of the governments priority list.

ECORYS will formulate the tendering strategy, will prepare the necessary tendering documents and will lend support at negotiations. The government aims to have a agreement with a contractor in September and to start work as soon as possible.
