18 November 2008 - ECORYS and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) are issuing the 3rd Annual Management Summit for Macedonia. The event is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week that was opened on 17 November. This years Management Summit will report final results of a three-year EU programme, aiming at developing human resources in small and medium sized enterprises in the country. The HRDF has been established within the frame of this programme as a public private partnership (PPS) of 47 organisations. ECORYS has assisted in the establishment of the HRDF as well as in designing and implementing its activities. The popularity of the HRDF and its activities can be judged by the interest to the Management Summit: more than 220 participants have registered for the event. During the three-year period of the EC HRDF programme for Macedonia, individual enterprises have benefited from in-company projects and from participating in learning groups. Managers have been learning from each other by participating in Experience Exchange Groups (EEGs). Business and universities have been working together in Professional Partnership Groups (PPGs) to increase employment of graduates and stimulating start-ups from universities. Hot topics in the field of management and enterprise development have been discussed in 25 short seminars. The Academy of Young Trainers has produced additional trainers for the country. The activities of the HRDF have taken place in 20 cities all around the country.
At the summit, ECORYS and HRDF will hand over their Human Resource Award to three companies for achievements in developing their human resources in 2008. For more information please visit the website http://www.hrdf.org.mk/ |
