Bahamas - consulting services for a new container and freight port on South West New Providence

Client: Government of the Bahamas, Ministry of Energy and the Environment
Project description: Project to study the options to create a new port that could handle the container and freight flows at New Providence, the island on which the capital Nassau is situated. The current freight activities all take place in downtown Nassau and increasingly interfere with urban and other port functions in the city. Project includes a trade and traffic forecast, a logistics plan, conceptual design of new port facilities, economic and financial feasibility and funding options.
