Client: European Commission The overall objective of this ongoing study is to identify the contributions of all DG Information Society’s policies and programmes to the Lisbon and Sustainable Development Strategies in 2000-2003 and recommend means and actions for greater synergy between them beyond 2005. The key aims of this preliminary analysis will be to identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps and potential synergies in the DG Information Society and opportunities for greater synergy and impact in the future as well as ways to strengthen the linkage between the Information Society and the Lisbon Strategy goals.
