On behalf of the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs, ECORYS analysed the impact of minimum wages on competitors of Deutsche Post. The study showed that the minimum wages would negatively impact the competitors, setting their business case back by two to four years. The outcome of the study provided one of the reasons for the Dutch government to postpone early liberalisation of the Dutch postal market.
