Lot 11 is a framework contract for the European Commission under which in-depth expertise and best practice on macroeconomic, trade and public financial regulatory issues are provided. Ecorys is leading the consortium which includes a wide range of partner and associated firms, each bringing in staff and expertise in their specific fields and regions.

Relevant assignments include:

  • Training and Capacity Building of the Higher Level Management of the Ministry of Industry, Syria;
  • Evaluation of the EU - India Trade and Investment Development Programme and identification of the follow-up programme, India;
  • Study on the Barriers to Trade and Investment in the Republic of the Phillipines, Philippines;
  • Evaluation of the Multilateral Trade Assistance Project Vietnam II (MUTRAP II), Vietnam;
  • Appraisal mission EC-ASEAN Statistical Capacity Building Programme, ASEAN;
  • Identification Mission for Macroeconomic Harmonization MERCOSUR, Paraguay;
  • Support to the implementation of a consumer protection law, Egypt;
  • Interim TA to CARIFORUM /CARICOM secretariat, Caribbean;
  • Support to customs administration reform, Georgia;
  • Non tariff barriers to trade and development of competition, Kazakhstan;
  • Needs assessment for trade-related assistance, Syria;
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the Trade enhancement programme, Egypt;
  • EU Aid coordination, Vietnam;
  • Monitoring poverty reduction and growth operation results, Cambodia.
