Privatisation of the Maritime Sector, Phase I and II, in Tanzania

Identification and pursue of privatisation options for the maritime sector in Tanzania. ECORYS provided a forecast of port throughput and related vessel movements, an economic and financial analysis, a study into privatisation options and recommended on an appropriate strategy to follow. Based on this, a business plan for the reorganised port system was developed. In phase II ECORYS acts as a transaction advisor for tender procedures, port authority adjustments and waterfront development.
