Reconstruction needs Malahayati Port in Aceh, Indonesia PDF Print E-mail

ECORYS has been invited by the ministry of Foreign Affairs to assess the restructuring needs for the port of Malahayati. The city that was severely hit by the earthquake and the tsunami on December 26th 2004. The project consisted of three main components:

  1. Project idenfitication and definition of scope of work for the reconstruction of the port of Malahayati in Banda Aceh, including a second opinion on the Witteveen+Bos damage report “Damage Assessment Malahayati Port, Aceh”;
  2. Management of the tendering of construction Works for emergency aid Restoration Malahayati Port;
  3. Monitoring and evaluation of the construction of the required Works of aid assistance for Restoration Malahayati Port.
