Review of the Hong Kong Post PDF Print E-mail

Together with Hans Kok Business Consult, ECORYS conducted a review of Hong Kong Post (HKP). The review consisted of four parts:  

  • To assess of the present global and local postal market developments and their impact on the HKP;
  • To review and assess the current institutional, organisational, commercial and operational arrangements of the HKP;
  • To develop recommendations on necessary changes permissible under the existing institutional and legal framework in the medium term;
  • To propose the way forward for the continual achievement of the postal policy objectives and financial objectives of HKP in the long term.

The main contribution of ECORYS was focused on the analysis of market development.
