Role of Health Technology Assessment in Middle-Income Countries: Reimbursement decisions of pharmaceuticals in selected countries (2008-2009)

Activities: An overview was provided on how Health Technology Assessment is organised in countries outside the EU, US and Oceania. Special focus lied on how this relates to coverage decision making of pharmaceuticals. We obtained information by desk research, a structured survey of relevant representatives in the selected countries, and follow up interviews with respondents of the survey to clarify issues that remained unclear.
