The market for office real estate in the Netherlands is currently out of balance and the surplus of office space has never been greater. Since 2001 demand for offices stagnated while supply continued to grow due the time-lag factor concerning the completion of new office developments. Now that the economy is improving the office market is expected to recover. But questions remain over the timing and magnitude of the recovery as well as aspects of location.
